Cronus is the King of the Titans and the Primary Antagonist of MYth: A Promise. He was the youngest and meekest of Gaia and Uranus's children, being the only who lacked a Mark of the Titan. Powerless, he envied his older siblings and wished to rise above them. So, Cronus went to Gaia and asked for her to give him power. She granted his wish and made him the most powerful of the gods. However, his newfound power drove Cronus to madness and megalomania, and he sought to rule all things. Slaying his father Uranus, Cronus became the new King of the Gods, and began his tyrannical rule over creation. Enraged, Gaia cursed Cronus' fate, declaring that just as Uranus' rule was ended by his child, so too would Cronus' fall by the hand of his Golden Son.
